Congratulations to the 12 teams who have received funding through the 2016 PHC Practice-Based Research Challenge!
The annual challenge provides research training for front-line PHC staff. Award recipients work with mentors and conduct small-scale practice-relevant research projects. Learn more about the challenge on the PHC Professional Practice website.
A special congratulations to team members Karen Lecomte, Emma Iacoe, Beverley McCarthy, Alexia Gillespie, and Team Mentor and CHÉOS Scientist Dr. Amy Salmon, who received the Patient- and Family-Centred Care Award for this year’s competition.
PHCRI, PHC Professional Practice, B.C. Nurses Union, and the UBC School of Nursing provided funding for this year’s Research Challenge. Each team will receive ongoing support from their mentors and advice on the research process; CHÉOS is pleased to offer guidance on methodology and statistics to all participating teams on request.
