Bethany Presley

Program Manager

Bethany is the Program Manager of Dr. Eugenia Oviedo-Joekes’ research team, focusing on person-centered care and outcomes of injectable Opioid Agonist Treatment (iOAT). Her team is based in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside where they have established relationships with the vibrant local community. Having completed her master’s degree at UBC, Okanagan in Community-Engagement, Social Change and Equity, Bethany is passionate about creating meaningful research partnerships and strengthening community. She is grateful to work with a diversely skilled research team and collaborate with stakeholders. Beyond work Bethany practices yoga, reads plenty of non-fiction, and enjoys painting and sewing. She has a long-time gardening hobby, and spends most of her time outside during the summer months at the beach, paddle boarding, and hiking.
