Navigating the Nexus: Tools and Tactics for Translating Health Research Evidence

Kevin Sauvé, BSc, MJ
Science Program Manager, Michael Smith Health Research BC

Kevin Sauvé serves as the Science Program Manager at Michael Smith Health Research BC (Health Research BC), where his expertise significantly enhances the organization’s impact.  Reporting directly to the Chief Scientific Officer, Kevin leverages a rich blend of skills in program and project management, strategic planning and collaboration.  These skills have been finely tuned through his extensive experience focused on synthesizing, disseminating and exchanging research evidence with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, and the general public, across various health research settings.

In this pivotal role, Kevin is instrumental in steering the planning, implementation, and oversight of Health Research BC’s science program.  This encompasses a range of dynamic new initiatives, from provincial priority programs to in-house research studies, all aimed at improving the organization while responding to the evolving needs of BC’s health research community and the public at large.
