Manager, Community-based Research

Bretton Hills joined the Centre for Advancing Health Outcomes as a research associate in 2025 for our Vancouver Island based seniors care projects, and is now a manager of community based research. Bretton came to us with a diverse background in community based project.  She has worked with Indigenous communities in economic development, ran a ocean-based carbon offset pilot program, community based traditional foods programs, and engineering projects throughout Canada. Bretton has sat on multiple not-for-profit boards focused on community development and support. Her diverse background and experience has supported making meaningful community connections on our rural community projects.
