Engaging under-served populations in health services in the DTES

Location: Hybrid (in-person and remote via GoToWebinar)

In-person location: Cullen Family Lecture Theatre, Room 1477, Providence, Level 1. St. Paul’s Hospital, 1081 Burrard Street, Vancouver BC.
(If you are joining in person, please arrive 5-10 minutes early. The presentation will begin promptly at 12pm)

Following the session, attendees will be able to:

  • Discuss the context of health services in the DTES
  • Identify the role of supervised consumption sites and overdose prevention sites
  • Describe novel harm reduction services that are being implemented to address the unregulated drug toxicity crisis

  • Presentations will be followed by a discussion where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive real-time responses from presenters.
